CNB Machinery and Steel Corp. continues to strengthen its commitment to customer satisfaction and after-sales excellence through a two-day technical service and client engagement visit in Cebu on October 21–22, 2026.
The visit focused on providing technical assistance, machine inspection and repair, preventive maintenance orientation, and identifying opportunities to further support the operational requirements of our valued clients in the construction and steel fabrication industries.
Day 1: Technical Service Visit at Primary Structures – The Shang Residences
The first day of the visit focused on our valued client, Primary Structures, at The Shang Residences project site and their main office fabrication facility in Cebu.
During the visit, CNB conducted inspection, troubleshooting, and repair activities on three units of TAEYEON equipment:
- TYC-HD42A Electric Bar Cutter
- TYB-HD42A Electric Bar Bender
- TYB-HD42D Electric Bar Bender
Aside from machine servicing, CNB also conducted equipment orientation and preventive maintenance discussions with the client's engineers and steelmen. The activity emphasized proper machine operation, routine inspection, and maintenance practices to help maximize equipment performance and minimize unexpected downtime.
This engagement reflects CNB's commitment to providing not only quality machinery but also continuous technical guidance and support to its customers.
Day 2: Industrial Facility Visit at SteelAsia – Compostela Plant
On October 22, CNB visited SteelAsia's Compostela facility to observe its steel fabrication operations and assess opportunities for further technical support.
The visit included an inspection of their automatic production lines and equipment, including:
- TAB-HD42 Automatic Bending Line
- TAB-HD25 Automatic Bending Line
- TAC-60 Automatic Cutting Line
CNB had the opportunity to observe the plant's production setup and operating systems, providing valuable insights into the technical requirements of large-scale steel fabrication operations.
A productive discussion with the Plant Manager followed, focusing on equipment concerns, technical assistance, and the availability of essential spare parts to help maintain production reliability.
Both parties also discussed a potential follow-up visit for the mobilization of Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) for their automatic production lines.
This engagement represents another opportunity for CNB to expand its technical service capabilities and establish a stronger partnership with one of the country's major steel industry players.
Client Engagement at Rockwell Project – IPI Cebu
The final stop of the Cebu visit was at the Rockwell Project – IPI Cebu, where CNB had the opportunity to visit another valued client that has invested in multiple units of TAEYEON machinery.
CNB was warmly welcomed by the project's engineers and given the opportunity to inspect their fabrication area, meet the subcontractors and site personnel, and conduct additional machine orientation and technical discussions.
Seeing CNB-supplied equipment actively supporting actual project operations was a rewarding experience. It reinforced the importance of providing reliable machinery backed by proper technical assistance and continuous after-sales support.
CNB sincerely appreciates the trust and cooperation extended by the project's engineering team and subcontractors.
